History of Visa Cards

As early as 1914, bank cards were already issued by finance groups as a line of credit to consumers. But it was in 1958 that Bank of America introduced BankAmericard, which became a huge success in the state of California. Since then, licensing agreements were made between banks not only in US but also in other countries. Bank of America then renounced its control of the card program, until the BankAmericard became known as Visa card to its cardholders and finance group members. To date, this joint venture has been one of the most successful in the industry.

Using a Visa Credit Card Online

The famous Visa logo and its hologram has been a symbol of secured payments to consumers, business owners, merchants, and other financial institutions. Unlike with other cards, using a Visa credit card online will require monthly payments with interest.
